Mary Poppins: still #1

It's been awhile since one of these found its way to ebay. This one closed yesterday at $622.09.

I spent almost that much for mine two and a half years ago. For me, it was worth every penny (and I'm neither a Disney nor a snowglobe collector...go figure!).

For those that want to know when one has been posted on eBay, I recommend you set up a Google Alert (they are totally free to create). As I recall, I used keywords like "Mary Poppins", "snowglobe", "For Sale". Sure enough, several months after I created the alert, Google let me know the very day it was posted. I also noticed that a couple more came on the market right after I bought mine...the next couple sold for LESS than mine cost. I'm not saying that will happen again, but in my case, I could have saved some money if I'd held tight and waited for the next one (it was listed within days of when I purchased mine.
