Disney Classics Desk Set

You probably allready got the email from DisneyStore.com but I wanted to make sure everyone saw these newly arrived items. This great desk set is an online exclusive. I allready have a Snow White set from a number of years ago. I guess I need another desk.

New Snowglobes in Europe

These 4 snowglobes became available on the Disney Store UK site today.

Cinerella and Tink are mini globes

The Stitch one appears to be the same as one allready in the collectors guide and I have seen it every so often on ebay but have no idea when it was first available. I say appears to be the same because the ones I've seen on ebay light up and the description on the UK site doesn't say anything about it. Also the description on the UK site suggests it has a blower and I had no previous knowledge of this globe having one. If it becomes available again here in the United States we will probably have a better description. The UK site never has very good descriptions for some reason.

The dalmations globe is cute but unusual. Puppies playing with a ball of yarn? I guess they want to be cats when they grow up.

New Snowglobes (sort of)

The following Disney snowglobes from the Disney Stores are now available on DisneyShopping.com. Don't forget to shop via Ebates to save an additional 4% on your best price.

Many of these have been around awhile but there may be painting differences similar to the bookends we discussed here.

This Wonderland snowglobe definitely has a new paint scheme.

Limited Edition of 500. Previously available at DisneyStore UK. Not a USA DisneyStore globe.

101 Dalmations on Disney UK

Somehow I missed the fact that this globe that showed up in our sneak peeks has appeared on the Disney UK site. It has a blower and plays "Cruella De Vil" I wonder how long it will be before it shows up on the US site.

DisneyShopping Sneak Peeks

Velvet from MyLittleMermaid.com has gazed into her crystal ball once again anf found the following pictures on the DisneyShopping.com site which may indicate things to come. The Mary Poppins globe is another Disney Store UK so called "exclusive", the 101 Dalmations globe is quite similar to one recently introduced by the Disney Store US and the Snow White globe is a recreation of one originally produced from 1997 to 1999.

Disney Snowglobes - UK mini's

The Disney Store UK website has introduced 6 new mini snowglobes for 10 pounds each. There is also a Bambi/Thumper one, but the picture is not yet available. The website describes it as an Easter globe.

New 101 Dalmations snowglobe

The new 101 Dalmations snowglobe that Juan Ortiz clued us in on a few days ago is now available on DisneyShopping.com. A bit expensive at 99.50. At that pricepoint, it might as well have been priced at 101.

Someone left a comment yesterday pointing me to another blog called The Disney Store Shelves. If you like my blog, then you are going to love this one. It is run by Juan Ortiz, one of the fine talented people designing items for The Disney Stores, including snowglobes. Juan talks about past.current and future items at the Stores as well as discussing the design process and showing off lots of original artwork from himself and his fellow creators. It's a must read blog for any and every Disney collector. Juan is currently showing pics of some upcoming globes including Oliver & Company, 101 Dalmations and Fantasia.

Disney Snowglobe: Pluto

Currently available at Walt Disney World is this snowglobe of Pluto. It's not often you see Pluto in a globe by himself, this one almost counts but they put other Disney dogs around the base. The pawprints on the glass are a nice touch. It's larger then a mini but not quite a full size globe. It retails for $20.
