New Sculptures - Walt Disney Classics Collection

Due to arrive this summer are these new additions to the Walt Disney Classics Collection.

Thomas Kinkade's Bambi Painting

Thomas Kinkade has revealed his newest Disney painting, this one featuring Bambi.  As always, these make fantastic desktop pics.  Click on the picture to see it bigger.

Disney Plush for Easter

I don't usually pay much attention to the plush selection on DisneyStore.com but this Ludwig Von Drake toy caught my attention which lead me to the new Easter plush.  I like the Thumper & Marie Easter baskets the best.  They would make a nice Easter basket for small kids.  Slip in a DVD of Bambi or Aristocats and some candy and you've got a great basket.

Disney Classics Desk Set

You probably allready got the email from DisneyStore.com but I wanted to make sure everyone saw these newly arrived items. This great desk set is an online exclusive. I allready have a Snow White set from a number of years ago. I guess I need another desk.

Disney tv snowdome series

This Donald Duck snowdome recently closed on ebay, so now its official. They were a series. Now the question becomes what other characters are there?

Disney Snowglobe buying opportunity

Disney Outlet has these 2 snowglobes in their last call section. The Clarabelle Cow one is regularly priced at 59.50 and has been on sale for 19.99 for quite awhile but now that it is the last call section the price goes down to 12.99 using the LASTCALL code.
Bambi is regulary 59.50, sale price of 16.99. LASTCALL grabs it for 11.04!

Several other collectible items are in the Last Call section. Buy your Christmas presents now and save!

New Pin series

Starting in 2010, Disneyland and Walt Disney World will have a new monthly pin series. Each card will have 2 pins. A base pin and a pin like the Bambi example shown above. The two pins can be worn seperately or combined, All the pins in the series will be interchangeable.

Mickey Mouse TV Snowdome

Remember this? Dated 1959 it is considered quite rare and sought after by snowdome collectors.
But now, courtesy of a recently closed auction ebay comes this which might be even rarer since we didn't know of it's existence prior to this. Also from 1959. Both domes are very off-model as far as the depiction of the characters go but they do have a Walt Disney Productions copyright on the bottom.

Was it a series? Are their any more characters represented? Does anyone know?

6 new snowglobes at Walt Disney World

As promised here are the new snowglobes at Walt Disney World. Where I took the pics, didn't have the Villians globe so I grabbed that pic off ebay but surprise, the emporium on Main Street had an additional small globe, the one of Thumper on a log. All are mini's for 12.95 except the Villians globe which is medium sized. Don't know the price since Emporium didn't have it.

New line of Jim Shore Disney Snowglobes

FantasiesComeTrue.com has these new Jim Shore snowglobes for pre-order as well as a lot of other great Disney stuff for sale. Each snowglobe is a mini at 3 1/2" H.
