Disney Precious Moment Sneak Peek

Velvet provided us with this sneak peek into future Precious Moments releases at DisneyStore.com. I want to see a Nightmare Before Christmas Precious Moments, just to see how they would do it.

New Finding Nemo Seagull Snowglobe

Found this new Finding Nemo snowglobe at the World of Disney store the other day. I didn't notice the tailfeathers broke off when I purchased it so it took a few days to get it replaced and posted. Retails for $19.95. Surprisingly affordable since most of the new ones this size that don't have any extra features are 24.95. Hopefully thats a good sign for prices in the future.

Precious Moments Finds Nemo

Precious Moments has added yet another snowglobe to their line. This time Finding Nemo takes the spotlight.

Happy New Year

So here's the 2009 entry from Walt Disney World in yearly logo series of Disney snowglobes. Not a great globe but kinda cute. Way overpriced at 14.95. I immediatley was wondering why the little figure of Nemo is on there. Is this the year of the fish or something? I then noticed the other logo merchandise like this cover of a scrapbook album.
Anybody got any ideas of why they only used Nemo on the globe?

4 new Disney Snowglobes

DisneyShopping.com released these 4 snowglobes today. All are good. I guess Stitch is my favorite even though I'm not a big fan of the character.

Disney snowglobes - Finding Nemo & Thumper sneak peeks

Velvet writes in to clue us into these two new snowglobes that will be sold on DisneyShopping.com. Thanks Velvet. I like both of these a lot.

Disney Snowglobes - New deluxe mini's

New at the Disney UK site are these 3 deluxe mini snowglobes. Stitch, Snow White and Nemo.

Oops!

Well, some of those sneak peeks are allready up on DisneyShopping.com. I guess I should check before I hit that publish button. Here are pics of what's new at DisneyShopping.com.

More Sneek Peaks

Velvet has spotted a few more future globes coming to Disney Shopping. She tells me all I need is faith and trust and pixie dust to find them! The Precious Moments one is the only brand new globe in the bunch. The Finding Nemo globe and the two wedding globes have been available at the parks for years. The Cinderella and Nightmare Before Christmas globes were released previously in the UK as Disney Store exclusives. Isn't that false advertising?

World's Cheapest Disney Snowglobes

Found these at Walgreens also. At a $1.99 each, I think it's safe to say they are the world's cheapest Disney snowglobes. There is a fourth one of Lightning McQueen but I was unable to find one in the 25-30 on display that didn't have a huge air bubble. Most were almost half empty and many were completely empty. These three characters globes were in much better shape but many of them also had large bubbles and some of the figures inside were broken. After getting them home I discovered that they do have a small plug on the bottom so they can be refilled.

The tags call this design a Disney Roly Poly Plastic Waterball.

The figures inside are similar to the ones inside the snowglobe sipper cups and are purposely floating loose inside the globes. The glitter color is themed to the character.

Speaking of the sipper cups, Walgreens has them too. $3.99. Walt Disney World wants $7.99 for theirs. Disney Store wants $5.99 for theirs. I didn't see any new designs at Walgreens. I had seen those designs on ebay and thought they came from the Disney Store.

Idiot Blogger forgets camera

Journeyed into the Animal Kingdom today for my Mom's 71st birthday (Happy Birthday Mom!). While there, I found 3 snowglobes I had not seen before. Unfortunately my camera stayed home.
There are two Expedition Everest snowglobes that probably have been available since the ride opened but this is the first time I've seen them. There is a mini that costs $15 and a medium sized with blower and lights that costs $50. Both are very nice.
There is also a new line of Animal Kingdom merchandize that features the Fab 5 in a hot air balloon soaring over the park. There is a snowglobe that is part of that line of merchandise that features the characters in the basket of the balloon.
I believe all three are only available at Animal Kingdom.
Wow, the park was crowded today. Amazing how much Expedition Everest and the Finding Nemo musical have added to the attendance of this park. We were awarded the Year of a million dreams lanyard and pins. Technically I'm not supposed to win since I work for an operating participant but I gues they dont check on the smaller prizes.

Disney Finding Nemo Snowglobe

This comical globe made me smile as soon as I saw it. Nemo swims around inside the top of the globe and members of the Tank Gang rotate around the base. It plays "Tiny Bubbles" and sells for $65 at WDW.

Next time your at WDW, check out the new Finding Nemo attractions at Epcot and Animal Kingdom. I highly reccomend both.

Pixar Mini's

Both of these Pixar globes, one from Finding Nemo and one from the Incredibles are $15 at The Disney-MGM Studios which rumor has it may someday soon be rechristened Disney-Pixar Studios. These are mini's but not quite as small as the $12 globes mentioned in another post today.

Hmmm. Maybe I should start a mini globe of the month club. For $20 a month I'll send you a mini globe from WDW postage paid. That way I can get the pictures I need for my book. Anybody want to join?
