Oliver and Company Snowglobe sells for $300

A rarely seen Oliver and Company snowglobe sold on ebay in December for $300.  More importantly we were able to update the Collectors Guide listing with a picture of the box.

Are Disney Snowglobes making a comeback?

Looks like Disney is finally putting some effort into creating new snowglobes.  First came the highly sought after Frozen snowglobe (have you seen the prices on ebay?) and now what appears to be an original Jungle Book design.  I first thought this was a re-release like so many of the last few years but a check of The Disney Snowglobe Collectors Guide did not reveal it in my records.  This one seems to be a good value with a blower and a globe that lights up.

Current Paris snowglobe?

Found this Disney snowglobe on a closed ebay auction. I believe it is one that is either currently or recently available at Disneyland Paris. I know from my statistics that there are at least a few regular readers from Europe. Can anyone confirm?

Sword in the Stone arrives in the UK

I was checking the DisneyStore UK site tonight and found that the Sword in the Stone globe we shown a spotlight on earlier is now listed on their site. It has a blower and plays "Higitus Figitus"

We can only hope that it comes here to the states. The description says it is exclusive to the Disney Store (meaning the UK stores) but don't let that fool you. There have been others that said that and were available here on DisneyShopping.com.

There is also this Valentines Winnie the Pooh trinket box snowglobe with Pooh dressed as a bee.

These must have just been put on the site as I write this because I can't get a page with them on it all of the time. If you don't see them when you go to the site try again in a little while.

Disney Snowglobe SALE

DisneyShopping.com has 50% off most of their snowglobes today and tomorrow. Some of which are allready at discounted prices. Use promo code merry50. If you have the Disney Visa card you can also use the promo code savings for 20% off your order and yes they are combinable. Shipfor5 will get you shipping for $5. Always an important consideration when shopping for heavy snowglobes. If your total is over 75 and your using a Visa card Visa75 will get you free shipping.

Don't know what to get someone for Christmas? Buy them a Disney snowglobe!

I purchased the Pecos Bill and the Pirates ornament. Happy shopping.

Disney Snowglobes - Top Ten Update

This disney snowglobe of Peter Pan's Neverland was from Disney Auctions and is a limited edition of 500. It recently sold for $463.00 earning it the #4 spot in my most valuable snowglobe list. A globe has to now sell for at least $234.00 just to make it onto the list.

Disney Snowglobes: It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the UK

3 more globes , all minis have been released on the Disney Store UK website. These appear to be really little.

Disney Snowglobe - Mickey's Nightmare

This snowglobe has showed up on the Disney Store section of DisneyShopping.com. This is one of those figurine sculptures with multiple small globes on it. In my opinion, this one would look better without the globes.

Stitch snowglobe keychains

These are from Japan and I believe they are capsule toys like you would get out of a gumball type machine.

Disney Snowglobes - Top Ten Countdown

The top ten countdown I've been doing the last several days is allready wrong. The 3rd place Mary Poppins Snowglobe has taken over the 2nd spot with one selling for $476.55. That knocks the 2nd place globe to third place and gives Mary Poppins the top two spots.

Disney snowglobes - Baby Pooh

At some point these appeared on the Disney Store UK website. I believe they may have been on there for a few weeks and I thought they were the same Baby Pooh globes that were on there before, but they are different. Each retails for 10 pounds.

RE: Here We Go Again - Mary Poppins

The latest Mary Poppins auction watch is over. This time the globe sold for $530.

Precious Moments Disney Snowglobe

Remember those Precious Moments Disney snowglobes I talked about in a previous post? Turns out this one is available on DisneyShopping.com

Disney Store Snowglobes arrive on DisneyShopping.com

Over the past couple of days, Disney Snowglobes from the Disney Store have been appearing on DisneyShopping.com. The Rescuers 30th Anniversary globe is my favorite.

Here we go again

Another one of those Mary Poppins snowglobes have made their way on to ebay. If your wondering why we care, read through the earlier posts. It is up to 227.50 with almost 6 days to go.

Question

Perhaps someone out there can help me out with an answer to this question. Does this snowglobe from Disneyland's 45th Anniversary play music? I had a song written down in my preliminary info but now have come across it in the Disney Catalogs and it does not say it plays music in the listings. The preliminary info comes from ebay listings so it is always suspect, but I'm not sure how complete the info always is in the Disney Catalog either. If someone could answer this question so I can finalize the book entry for this globe it would be much appreciated.

Disney Snowglobes in the United Kingdom

3 more snowglobes have been added to the Disney Store UK website.

M&M's Disney Snowglobe

While going through the completed E-Bay listings today, I found this globe. I've occasionally seen M&M collectibles at WDW but never anything as elaborate as this. A few minutes of research reveals that there is a chain of stores called M&M World that carry nothing but merchandise devoted to the little chocolate candies. The snowglobe seen above is a limited edition of 2000 and can be ordered here. It costs $65.00. The one on E-Bay sold for $48.43 which included the shipping charge. There are apparently some figurines based on Dead Man's Chest as well.

Disney Snowglobes Sale

Just a quick note to make sure everyone is aware of the current sale on DisneyShopping.com. Up to 70% off of all snowglobes and $5 shipping on purchases of more then $50. For those of you who dont know DisneySpeak, I'll translate: There is one snowglobe that is 70% off and most of the others are close to their normal "sale" price. Still it's a good time to buy if you have the urge. This also means there are probably more new snowglobes ready to be revealed as soon as they clear out a little inventory. The 70% off globe is the Mickey's House Hourglass with an original price of 99.95.

Disney Precious Moments Snowglobes

Disney and Precious Moments teamed up to create a line of merchandise not too long ago. Many of the items can be seen on the Precious Moments website but Walt Disney WOrld has 3 snowglobes that can't be found there, in fact I haven't been able to find them anywhere on the internet. I spotted them a couple of months ago at Walt Disney World and haven't seen them since until now. They apparently don't last long when they are in stock. The porcelain figurine is $65 and the two Christmas snowglobes are each $35. One plays "The 12 Days of Christmas" and the other one "We Wish You a Merry Christmas".
