Velvet informs me she picked up the 20th Anniversary Little Mermaid snowglobe at a physical Disney Store and that the price is 89.50 but its 114.50 on the website and has been since its debut. If you've purchased one online, I would suggest calling and inquiring about the price difference.Monday, October 5, 2009

Thanks for the heads up on this. I did order online for the higher price. I contacted DisneyStore.com support after I saw the lower in-store price and was told "We do not price match with other retailers.". Ouch.
I had been under the impression that with all of the acquisitions and re-orgs that DisneyStore.com and brick-and-mortar stores were again the same. I guess not.
Anyway, I could probably go through the trouble of returning the globe (at my cost) and re-buying it locally, but I spend my life on the road and it's just a hassle.
How disappointing.

Thats just wrong! Unfortunately Disney seems to keep sinking lower and lower in standards across the entire company.
