Disney Dollars are worth what??????

Anybody out there who can explain this collection of Disney Dollars sold for $4,045 dollars on ebay????
Looking at other auctions it appears to have something to do with the bills being in sequence.   My mom gave me some once,  I wonder where they are.

wait... is that $4.00 (four dollars) or $4000.00 (four thousand dollars)

Four thousand!!!!. I guess i hit a period instead of comma, sorry. But yeah, four thousand, There was a $10 that seemed to go with these but as a seperate auction that was over a thousand.
They were low serial numbers that were somewheres in the 1000 range so I guess its a combination of low serial numbers and being sequential.
