Now Showing: Truant Officer Donald
D23 is now showing Truant Officer Donald.
Mouskavision is now joining in the celebration by presenting Donald Duck cartoons as well.
New Princess Photo Frame Series
Velvet clues us into this forthcoming series of Princess picture frames with snowglobes. I've never quite understood why they put the miniature snowglobes on items like these. It's not like people are going to shake it like a real snowglobe so why not just make it a figurine?
Also worth mentioning is that the oval shaped photo frame series that was previously available at the parks was recently replaced with a new series that doesn't have snowglobes on them.

DISNEY NEWS
The new D23 pin will feature Gus sleeping in Cinderella's slipper and will be available on June 5th.
D23 members who are also artists have the opportunity to create Donald Duck's official 75th Anniversary portrait. Wow! Now that's a once in a lifetime experience for a Disney fan!
Disney is working on a Flight of the Navigator remake. I'd rather see a sequel then a remake as I haven't liked most of the reamkes. Still I did enjoy Race to Witch Mountain and that Love Bug movie so I'll hold judgement until I actually see it.
Only a few more days until UP comes out on May 29th. I haven't heard or seen anyone say anything negative about it. Looks like it should be a great film.

More Sneak Peeks
Velvet has uncovered some more sneak peeks to what will be availalble on DisneyStore.com. The Donald Duck appears to have Chip & Dale popping out of a toaster. Nice gag. Congratulations to the designer. The Belle cup appears to be the same one that has previously been available but seen from the other side. It appears Disney Stores will have a new line of cups with a different cup design then the previous series.

D23 now showing cartoons
D23 has decided to celebrate Donald Duck's 75th birthday by showing some of his classic cartoons on their website. This week's offering is Chef Donald from 1942.
The 2nd stand-alone Disney hotel site was announced today as Washington D.C. No timetable for construction has been announced. They purchased 15 acres for 11 million. I hope these hotels will have snowglobes based on the local areas much like some of the New York globes from the World of Disney Store.
