PT52 Update
The unknown pin in the PT52 collection turns out to be Gill from Finding Nemo. The pricing on ebay seems to have calmed a bit with some pins only fetching around 4 or 5 dollars.

PT52 Arrives at Disney Parks
Disney has released a new pin series called PT52. The series consists of 52 pins. They come 2 to a mystery pack and Disney hasn't released any kind of checklist. There are also "special" chaser pins which turn out to be the same as the regular series but all gold. I've put together a nearly complete list of pins in the series by gathering pics from ebay. Still need pictures of Peter Pan, Kevin from Up, and either Gamma or Beta from Up. Not sure which dog is which. There remains 1 pin in the series that I don't know what it is. Here's a comparison look at some of the chasers using some pics from ebay.
Personally, I don't like the look of the gold ones and would much prefer the regular series.
Here's a list of the pins identified thus far....
Characters in director chairs Series: Chip n Dale, Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, Goofy, Jiminy Cricket, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pinocchio, Pluto, Stitch.
Finding Nemo Series: Dory, Gill, Nemo, Peach, Squirt.
Nightmare Before Christmas Series: Jack, Sally, Zero
Peter Pan Series: Lost Boys, Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Wendy.
Toy Story Series: Bo Peep, Bulls Eye, Buzz Lightyear, Hamm, Jessie, Rex, Woody.
Up Series: Alpha, Beta, Carl, Charles Munz, Dug, Gamma, Russell.
Villians Series: Captain Hook, Chernabog, Cruella, Hades, Jafar, Lady Tremaine, Maleficent, Old Hag, Queen of Hearts, Ursulla.
Wall-E Series: Axiom, Captain, Eve, Mo, Wall-E.
and one unknown. UPDATE: The unknown pin turns out to be Gill from Finding Nemo.
The cost of a mystery pouch is $13.95 at Disney. The 13 pins that have sold on ebay so far range from 16.95 to 60.00 and all have been Buy It Now for 1 pin. The $60 pin was a gold chaser Chip n Dale. Please don't shoot the messenger. I don't buy em or sell em. I'm just sharing the info.

Disney's A Christmas Carol Snowglobe Series
I just discovered this series of snowglobes based on Disney's recent film A Christmas Carol. These pics are from ebay. One seller has a photo revealing they were either made by or available at North Pole Trading Company. Each one plays the same song "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen"

Disney Outlet Sale - Buy Now Alert
The Disney Outlet section of DisneyStore.com is having one of their Last Chance sales and offering an additional 20% off the current markdowns on selected items. Use the code outlet20 to apply the discount to your order. Typically these last chance sales mean just that and this is the cheapest you will be able to get these items however some of the snowglobes don't seem to be marked down as heavily as I would have expected from past sales. Still some great deals here on snowglobes and other items. Don't forget to use Ebates to get 3% cash back on top of everything else!

Disney Gumball Toys
While doing some research today, I ran across this press release. Expect to see Disney characters in gumball machines soon.
COCKEYSVILLE, MD -- A&A Global Industries said it has closed on a licensing deal with Walt Disney Consumer Products. According to the terms, the bulk vending supplier has acquired a license to produce a variety of capsuled toys and novelties based on Disney properties for distribution in the vending space in the U.S.
The license awards A&A access to such iconic characters as Disney Classics, Fairies and Princesses, along with content from films like Cars, Toy Story and Ratatouille, and live-action productions High School Musical and Hannah Montana. A&A officials said there are other properties in the portfolio that will be announced once the projects are approved and scheduled for production.
"We are honored to be partnering with the Walt Disney Co. and celebrating their world-renowned properties in unique and trend-forward vending machine products," said A&A vice-president Phil Brilliant. "We already have many of these concepts on the drawing board. They will be impressive not only to vending machine operators, but more importantly to vending machine consumers."
A&A will be rolling out Disney vendibles in the first quarter of 2010, and expects to have a full program available in the second quarter.

Disneyland Paris Snowglobe Update
waiting in my email this morning was this update for snowglobes at Disneyland Paris by Maurice Negenman. Maurice has been kind enough to provide photos and details in the past when he visits the park and the time he takes out of his vacation is greatly appreciated. If you'd like to provide information from a past or upcoming trip about interesting Disneyana at a theme park other then Walt Disney World, please leave a comment with a email address so I can contact you. I won't publish the comment so your email address will remain confidential.
Here's what Maurice had to say:
It has been a long time, but last weekend I was in DLRP after 1,5 years.
Snowglobes are becoming very rare in Paris. In most of the shops they have removed the globes. I don´t know why.
Larger globes are only available in 2 shops in the main park.
I only found 1 (!!!) new large snowglobe, the Stitch with the ducks. 75 Euro
The rest were really old ones. Peter Pan, 2 of the remaining LE Dream Parade.. etc. You already have them.
I´ve added also a picture of some smaller ones.
Small Stich, blue and purple... 14,90 Euro
Dumbo... 19,90 Euro
Lady and the Tramp... 14,90 Euro
Alice... 24,90
The rest.... I don´t know the prices...
Next time I will take more pictures of smaller ones and try to remember all the prices. I was there for only 1 day with people who haven´t been to DLRP in the last 10 years, so I couldn´t take to much pictures and spend to much time in the shops.
Thanks again, Maurice.

Disneyland 55th Anniversary Logo
Disneyland celebrates 55 years young this year. Here's a look at the anniversary logo that is starting to appear on merchandise in the park. That's a great logo that will sell a lot of stuff! I hope they make it into a snowglobe.
