Disney has added these 4 theme parks globes to DisneyStore.com. There has also been a lot of Precious Moments figures and some 9" limited edition vinylmations added.

Queen Snovari of Mini Globeland

MagicMan provided me with this link to a snowglobe collector in Asia who is in the Guinness Book of World Records for her collection of mini snowglobes. She has over 2000 and collects all types but a huge portion of her collection are Disney ones. There are quite a few Disney globes in her pictures that I was not aware of. She also has Peanuts, Garfield, Harry Potter and a large variety of other themes.

I will try to contact her to get permission to use some of her pictures but you should really go check her site out. She has grouped each snowglobe series together in many of the pics and that makes it nice to see what is in an entire series.

D23 Expo Auction Announced

September 12th at 7pm, D23 Expo will have a live auction of props, artwork and experiences. Anyone with a D23 Expo ticket can attend but it will cost you $40 if you want to bid. Your $40 will also get you a limited edition pin and a auction catalog. Registration for the auction begins tomorrow.

Mickey Mouse TV Snowdome

Remember this? Dated 1959 it is considered quite rare and sought after by snowdome collectors.
But now, courtesy of a recently closed auction ebay comes this which might be even rarer since we didn't know of it's existence prior to this. Also from 1959. Both domes are very off-model as far as the depiction of the characters go but they do have a Walt Disney Productions copyright on the bottom.

Was it a series? Are their any more characters represented? Does anyone know?
