FREE DISNEY SNOWGLOBE
After a week of looking, I finally found what this years JC Penney snowglobe will look like. Personally, I wouldn't be caught anywhere near a mall on black friday but to each their own.

Disney Jelly Globes at Walgreens
If you saw yesterday's Walgreens ad in your sunday paper you may have saw the ad for the Disney Jelly Globes. I only found 7 designs at the one I stopped at today but they had allready been picked over. Seems like there should be 8 designs. I purchased Mickey, Pooh, Tigger, Tinkerbell, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Ariel.
Interestingly the Tigger design seems to match the artwork from the Target website but none of the others do.
Pictures to follow but probably not until tuesday.

No luck at Kmart
I made the trip into Kissimmee to go to Kmart yesterday to check out the snowglobes I found on their website and all I could find was one Mickey and Minnie and one Princess snowglobe in beat up boxes. Only one of each and no jelly globes at all which is what I wanted to get. If they ever had any of the jelly globes at all, someone completely cleaned them out. I especially wanted the Pluto one. If anyone manages to get one, I'd appreciate a picture. I'd like to compare the actual item to the artwork that I got off the website.

Disney Snowglobes at Kmart
I found these pictures on the Kmart website. The jelly globes are on sale for 2.99 until 11/22 but which ones you can get is extremely limited on the website. I don't know if the sale price is valid in the stores or not. The normal sized globes are 19.99.

25% off - NOT!
Well, I was all set to send all of you over to DisneyShopping.com to take advantage of their current 25% off, but it turns out it cant be used on the snowglobes that are allready on sale. They've made it so the codes are not usable on stuff on DisneyOutlet.com and they now move the globes that are on sale into the outlet section. Or at least the ones I wanted to get.
This is the 3rd time I've spent quite a bit of time putting an order together on the Disney site only to find out the merchandise listed isn't available or I cant get it for the price I expected.
It will be a long time before I shop there again. There are a few new additions to the snowglobes available but they are ones that were previously available and, at the moment, I couldn't care less.

Recent Comments
Occasionally, folks leave comments that most of you probably don't get to read unless you go back and look through the previous posts. Here's a couple that were left over the last couple of days:
I'm a designer at Simson Giftware, which is the company that produces these Jellyglobe ornaments. We always design 4 different globes for each major Disney property, and in different styles for each major chain store. It is up to the store as to what they would like to carry, based on what they think will sell that season.
For the jellyglobe ornaments released this year, we presented design concepts to Target, Walmart, Toys R Us, Home Depot, Lowes, Kohl's, Sears, Kmart, & Menard's. I have no idea however, if all these stores chose to carry them this year. I tend to work on the front end of things, so it's a bit of a mystery to me if a program has sold through or not after I've helped designed it, unless I see it myself at the store. The ornaments you have pictured here are actually from last year's collection at Target.
Someone else left a link to this Little Mermaid Broadway Snowglobe available on Playbill.com for 49.95.

New Christmas Ornament Bubble Globes
You may recall me mentioning the Christmas bubble globes available at Walmart. Hannah Montana, Cars and Princesses were the offerings at that particular retailer. I thought that was odd. What no Mickey? No Pooh?
Well, thanks to ebay we now have these pictures to ponder over.
The label in the bottom corner of the box says "target product number", so I'm guessing these are available at Target right now, but I'm not sure. I'll try to stop sometime this week and check it out. If you spot them first, either at Target or somewhere else, please let me know.

Mary Poppins auction result
One of these Mary Poppins snowglobes recently closed on ebay for around $350. It was chipped, had fuzzy things floating in the water and the birds wouldn't "fly" anymore, all disclosed in the auction and it still sold for $350.

Not a creature was stirring...
Here's a photo of Main Street taken before the park opens. I love to get shots like this with no people in them.

Photos
The top one was intened for next april fools day because it was supposed to look like the castle was on fire but I didn't think it looked convincing enough. The smoke was from the fireworks from the stage show.
The middle is the Firehouse, before opening, decked out in holiday finery.
The last are the castle Christmas lights as seen from the 4th floor at Contemporary.
