Any experienced buyer at DisneyShopping.com knows to search for discount codes before you buy and to wait for the item to be on sale. In my case I also use the Disney Visa card so I can get free stuff.
Ok, here comes the commercial but bear with me I wouldn't be mentioning it here if I didn't believe it was worth your time.
I've been told about ebates. You sign in at their site before you shop, use their links to go to the store you were allready going to and buy stuff like you normally would with your account, discounts, codes etc. Why? Because they give you cash back on almost all your purchases. In the case of DisneyShopping.com you get 4% back. They have over 800 stores you can shop at and almost all of them give you cash back. Even wal-mart gives you 1%. Tired of buying expensive printer cartridges? Get 16% back. I'll very likely be switching my book buying from Amazon to Barnes and Noble because of this.
The more money you save the more you have to spend on snowglobes!

Do you need to pay anything? Is the 4% like the Disney coupons? Do you have discount in the total amount you spend? I hope it works for international purchases!!!
It's free! You don't pay a cent! You do nothing but shop like you normally would except you must log into the ebates site and use their link to go to the shopping site of your choice. Every 3 months, ebates sends you a check if your account is over $5.00. This will change a lot of my buying habits.
As long as you can buy from the website it should work for you. I don't see anything about them not sending checks overseas or not but they do have the option of putting it in a paypal account.
They send checks the 15th of may, aug, nov and feb. The may check is for purchases made from jan through march. So I guess you have to wait a couple months to get your money back. That kinda stinks but it's better then not getting it. If the account is below $5 it carries over so you don't lose anything.

looks like it works the same as an affiliate program. The sites pay ebates a percentage of each sale that is made and ebates then gives you back a portion of what they made. Some of the smaller sites that give a large percentage back do so to get their name out there and drive customers to their site. Even if ebates ended up keeping 1% of all the sales it would likely add up to millions and their expenses are the website, tracking and mailing the checks. Whoever thought this up is a genius!
