Disney Christmas Snowglobes spotted at Target

Velvet was kind enough to send along these photos she took at a Target Store. I stopped at my local Target Suprstore today and they didn't have them out yet so I have no info other then what can be determined by the looking at the photographs.
Time to start making the rounds to the department stores again. Tis the season.
By the way, I did stop at a wal-mart recently and they had some Disney stuff out but no snowglobes yet at that time. They were using the same licenses as last year: Cars, Princess, Tink, Pooh & Mickey. Didn't see any sign of H. Montana but considering all the stuff that was left last year that's not surprising. The designs on the stuff that was there were very nice. I especially liked the gift tags.

INFORMATION PLEASE

UPDATE: Turns out these are not snowglobes at all but playsets. The domes come off and the water is just in a shell much like the children's glasses that have liquid in them with glitter or toys.

I found these pics on ebay and don't know anything about them other then they are approximately 17 cm tall, the seller lives in Australia and they appear to be part of a series. Can anyone provide more info for the guide?

Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter doll

Here's a peek via Sideshow Collectibles at a Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter doll that will be available in the 2nd quarter of 2010. Manufacted by Medicom Toys this highly articulated doll will be extremely poseable and is described as being capable of nearly any pose that a human body can achieve. Sideshow is taking pre-orders of the 12 inch doll at $199.99. Yikes! Definitely not an action figure you would want to let the kids play with.

New Disney Snowglobes

The following Disney snowglobes have appeared on DisneyStore.com. It's hard to know which globes will be in a physical Disney Store but if you have access to one I would reccomend trying to buy these at the store because of the price difference that was discovered on the Little Mermaid globe that DisneyStore.com refused to honor.

The Cars snowglobe is a nice surprise since we didn't have a sneak peek for it

Donald is the Annual Passholder pin and will be released on november 10th. Limited Edition of 2500. $11.95

Chip & Dale trying to reach the light switch are two pins sold together for 13.95. Limited Edition of 2000. To be released on november 10th.

Tinker Bell is my favorite of the three and will also be released on november 10th for $11.95. Listed as a limited release but no edition size mentioned.

Moving over to EPCOT, we have this year's Holidays Around The World celebration.

This cool spinner pin is actually a jumbo pin and will retail for 40.00. Limited to 500 and scheduled for release on november 27th.

Chip n Dale are this years Vacation Club exclusive and will be released on november 27th in an edition size of 750. Retails for 11.95.

Tink is the Annual Passholder exclusive. Limited to 2000 pins, she will be released on november 27th for 9.95.

Figment joins the Candlelight Procession in this pin limited to 3000 pieces. Release date is november 27th for 11.95.

The logo pin for this years event will be released on november 27th and retails for 9.95. No edition size listed.

and now, everyone's favorite... Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! All the pins are listed as having november 10th release dates. Is that how they do it now? Used to be their were different pins issued for each nightly party and it was difficult at best to get the ones you wanted.

This is the completer pin for the framed set that is limited to 300. The set costs 200.00 and will be available on november 10th.

Goofy is 11.95 and limited to 2500.

The boxed set is 40.00 and limited to 500.

Donald and Daisy are the Annual Passholder exclusive. Retails ofr 11.95 and limited to 2500.

Chip n Dale are 11.95 and limited to 2000.

Tink is 11.95 and limited to 2000.

Stitch did you lick that gingerbread man?
But him taste soooo yummy!
Stitch is 11.95 and limited to 2500.

Pluto is 11.95 with an edition size of 3500.

Mickey and Minnie are 11.95 and limited to 3500.

The logo pin is 9.95 with no edition size listed.

The jumbo pin is 40.00 and limited to 500.

Not a bad assortment but I do wish they would stop using the same characters year after year. I wouldn't mind seeing a jumbo pin of the gathered duck family celebrating Christmas and would enjoy seeing some of the movie characters added to the mix. I think Figment is my favorite.

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit Returns as a Villian

By now, especially lately, you've probably heard of the new game from Disney Interactive Studios called EPIC MICKEY. It will launch later this month and is exclusive for the Wii. The concept is that old forgotten black & white Disney characters have declared war on Mickey and his colorful empire.
Don't know if Oswald is the main villian or not, but it is being reported that he's the one spreading that black goo all over the place that Mickey must clean up using paint thinner, erasers etc. As you can see, the art for this game is incredible. If the game play lives up to the art, Disney will undoubtebly have a huge hit on their hands. And Disney being Disney will probably start issuing merchandise.
Poor Oswald, stolen, forgotten, bought and sold. No wonder he's disgruntled. I know a lot of theme park cast members who can relate.
